Here's a question we get all the time: Where can I buy a plumeria? Do you have any recommendations for nurseries or growers?
The short answer is: Come to our twice-a-year sales in Balboa Park. We sell cuttings in the spring and plants in the fall.
The long answer is: Many of our great vendors happen to be great members. Because we are a non-profit, SCPS chooses not to step into the quagmire that is the federal tax code by making recommendations which could be perceived as a benefit to any private interests. Aside from our own sales, the organization does not endorse any particular grower or nursery.
Having said all that, if you want to buy a plumeria, come to one of our meetings and ask around. You will meet many amazing growers who might just have the plant you’re looking for.
