BAG ROOTING INDOORS

By Vern Schwebke

After the September plant sale, I ended up with some cuttings. Rather than leave them sit until spring, I decided to try your baggie rooting method. As I don't have a greenhouse, I put them below a desktop in the office, which has a full-length, south-facing window.

They are propped against a plastic tub, and the temperature stays pretty much the same day & night, without any really cold evening or weekend temps. (See photos below.) Two of the cuttings are already showing nice roots in their baggies (in less than 2 months!). I will take them home and put them in containers next. They will probably go right back in the window for the winter.
